VERTEX Wrist Pin Features

Case hardened wrist pins are used with all Vertex pistons.Nitride coated pins are normally used for high performance four-stroke engines utilizing a bronze bushing or with engines using a steel connecting rod without bearings. This hardened surface is highly wear resistant and provides anti-galling properties. Nitriding is a highly specialized surface treatment that produces a highly wear resistant surface. The significant advantage of nitriding is that the surface hardness is developed without quenching and the attendant distortion problems with case hardening. Finishing operations can be eliminated or held to a minimum.

Quality carburettor rebuild kit from All Balls.

• Kits include all of the necessary components to repair a carburettor. ATV models with two carburettors include components to repair two carburettors.
• Kit includes necessary all O-rings, gaskets, jets, needle, mixture screw, float bowl screws, float valve needles and seat. (Needle jet and other pressed-in jets are not included in the kit.)
• OEM jet sizes are included in the kit. NBR rubber material is used on all O-rings and rubber gaskets NBR has excellent resistance to the ethanol used in today’s fuels.
• Applications that use paper float bowl gaskets are upgraded to High-Performance Interface Gasket material.
• Components included in the kits are based on US models and discretion must be used when attempting to install the kit on a non-US model.

A Cylinder Works replacement cylinder is a completely new, not remanufactured, cast aluminium nickel silicon carbide (NSC) electroplated stock bore cylinder that appears just like an OE cylinder.

NSC is a composite of nickel and silicon carbide, providing an excellent wear-resistant surface with oil retention capabilities.

Cylinders are then diamond honed to the exact bore dimension and proper surface finish to ensure the proper ring seal and oil retention.

Fuel pump strainers act as a first line of defence against fuel system contamination. Strainers filter out common contaminants found in gasoline such as dirt, dust and other particulate matter, as well as gasoline varnish. Quantum fuel pump strainers feature multiple layers of strainer media to filter progressively smaller particle sizes. The expanded surface area provides enhanced filtration, extending the life of the fuel pump.

Restricted fuel flow through a clogged strainer causes the fuel pump to work harder, reducing pump longevity. Strainer clogging is among the top causes of fuel pump failure making it important to replace your strainer regularly - before problems arise. We recommend replacing fuel pump strainers in powersports applications once a year as part of a preventative maintenance plan.
